Breathwork
Breathwork for nervous system healing
You've built the success. Now build the nervous system that can hold it.
Guided breathwork for high-achieving women whose drive is outrunning their bodies — so you can hold bigger months, deeper leadership, and a fuller life with calm, confidence, and capacity instead of the crash.
IF THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR
You hit the big month — then crash.
On paper, it looks as if you're thriving. In your body, something's been running hot for a long time.
You reach a big goal you set and feel anxious or strangely flat, instead of celebrating it. Or you find yourself rushing off to the next big thing.
Your mind won't switch off. There's always a next important task that needs to get done now, even when you're meant to be resting.
You're wired and tired: running on adrenaline, then crashing hard once the push is over.
Tension lives in your body all the time: jaw, shoulders, a breath that never quite lands.
You're doing all the right things — and still bracing for the next hit.
The way you've been succeeding is starting to feel like something you can't sustain.
You're not broken. Your nervous system simply hasn't caught up to the level of success you're already holding.
High achievers are taught to push harder. But you can't out-discipline a dysregulated nervous system — you can only outgrow it.
And your breath is the one part of that system you can consciously steer. Change how you breathe, and you change the signal your body is running on.
Calm isn't the opposite of ambition. It's the foundation of it.
WHERE MANY HIGH PERFORMERS LIVE:
Survival Mode
High achievers are taught to push harder. But you can't out-discipline a dysregulated nervous system — you can only outgrow it. And your breath is the one part of that system you can consciously steer. Change how you breathe, and you change the signal your body is running on.
WHERE WE'RE HEADED
Regulated capacity
Slow, full, settled. From here you lead with clarity, recover faster, and hold far more, without paying for it with your wellbeing.
This isn't about doing less or wanting less. It's about building capacity. When your internal world is regulated, your external world expands, and growth stops costing you your health, your family, or your peace.
Reviews
“I’m able to really feel when my nervous system is on edge and move myself more into the parasympathetic side naturally. The results I’ve achieved after the program are that I had the highest month in business, and honestly…just feeling more in tune with myself and emotions. Having control of how I’m feeling. The financial freedom has been one of the best benefits.”
— Lauren G.“Before I did breathwork with Melissa, my stress level was at an 8. I felt like I needed to sometimes control a lot. The results I have seen after are better sleep, feeling happier and in a better mood, more energy, more relaxation, and making time for myself. I have more clarity and focus, and feel happier with my life. My biggest breakthroughs were learning more about myself and my struggles, and how to move through them.”
— Carrie M.“Melissa is the kindest, most positive coach and facilitator. Everytime I meet with her, I just feel a sense of calm and clarity. I recently did breathwork with her and I was really impressed with how good I felt after just one session. I came to session with a 2 day headache and by the time our session was over, it had completely dissipated. I had tried everything to get rid of it but it wasn’t until I slowed down and breathed that I was able to move past it. Melissa is great at explaining what to expect and holding space for you in the most supportive way.”

Hi I’m Melissa
Hello lovely — I'm so glad you're here. I help high-achieving women hold success with calm and clarity, so growing your business and your life feels sustainable, spacious, and safe — instead of something you're white-knuckling through.
For years I watched brilliant, driven women hit their goals and then crash: anxious, exhausted, on edge instead of excited. The missing piece was never more strategy or more hustle. It was a nervous system that felt safe enough to hold the success they'd already built.
And it was something I experienced myself, first as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep, and then as a luxury Makeup & Hair Artist with a successful beauty business.
My work blends breathwork with subconscious nervous system work to help you regulate from the inside out — so you can lead, create, and receive from a grounded, confident place. I’m certified in trauma informed NLP Coaching, Hypnosis, EFT, Human Design, and over 50 types of Breathwork, including HRV Biofeedback Breathwork, Pranayama, Somatic, Holotropic, Ceremonial, and other advanced styles.
I work in a trauma-informed, body-led way: we never push, we move at the pace your system can integrate, and you stay in charge of your experience throughout.
Your Questions, Answered
-
No — that's the fear, and it's worth naming. Regulating your nervous system doesn't take the edge off your ambition; it makes your ambition sustainable. You keep the drive and the standards. What you lose is the crash, the bracing, and the cost it's been quietly extracting from your health and your life.
-
More than okay — it's exactly who this is for. No experience, flexibility, or special skill is required. I guide you through every step, and your first session is built around meeting you where you are.
-
No — and it's not meant to. Breathwork works best alongside the support you already have. It gives your body a practical way to regulate and integrate the work you're doing elsewhere. With your consent, I'm glad to coordinate with your other practitioners.

The approach I use is gentle and paced to your nervous system rather than pushed past it. During your Breath Assessment we talk through your health history so we can adapt as needed. Some conditions — for example pregnancy, certain cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, epilepsy, or recent significant trauma — call for a modified approach or, occasionally, checking with your doctor first. We'll figure out what's right for you, together.
-
That's normal, and it's welcome. The breath often gives the body a safe way to release what it's been holding. You're supported the whole way through, you stay in control, and we always make time to settle and integrate before you leave.

All sessions are virtual, although I will sometimes have in person group classes in the Folsom/Sacramento, CA area. The best way to find out about in person classes is to get on my newsletter list.
Book your Breath Assessment, and we'll find the path that gives your nervous system room to hold everything you're building.
