"There is no such thing as failure; just an opportunity to do something else" unknown.
When I think about my career path, I’ve had so many careers that have brought me to where I am now. Group home counselor, special ed teacher, mail machine salesperson (yeah that's a thing!), pharmaceutical sales rep, and artist and coach.
Some jobs didn’t work out, some didn’t pay enough, some stressed me out and made me feel depressed, or businesses that made me feel burnt out. Some people might view it as a string of failures, or being flaky. I view it as not settling for a career and a life that wasn’t right. Even if the road is hard and rocky, I’ve learned so much from each job, company and business that has helped me find the right fit, even when I couldn't see the lesson at the time I was going through it.
If something isn’t working out for you, you’re not a failure, and you haven't failed! View it as a learning opportunity and look for the next possibility that comes your way.
You don’t have to settle for where you are, you can have AND YOU DESERVE everything your heart desires.
